Why not mentioning huawei? The matebook x pro might fit this category
The ZenBook is the best imo but if you want a MacBook go for the M1 Air
I love that you always approach your reviews from the “value for money” point of view.
The M1 air is a better deal than the M2 Air
Funny you featured the Aero 13. I picked one up myself with 5800U 16GB ram and the upgraded screen for 550 USD (was discounted). Honestly, for that price its amazing.
I wish AMD was more available, I really want an X13 Yoga 3 with Ryzen
The video on this link makes a fairer comparison than Daves2D´s video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lf9sjtv3LYs
Dave, you have total pro windows bias with no argument at all to back it up
I’ve always liked Dell XPS, but it’s far too expensive. My last last laptops have been Asus and they’ve been flawless. Affordable, reliable and great bang for your buck!
Im getting the m2 because latest and greatest usually lasts longer with support
You know whats funny to me, is how americans never add the tax when talking about their products, like, dont you pay them? I understand that in every state is a different percentage but correct me if I’m wrong we are talking about a 10-20% bump up in price which turns into 150-300$ more in the case of MBA, which turns all this conversations about prices a bit useless… here in Spain we are talking that the base model is over 1500€ and the 10 core version is almost 2000€, which it is a bit insane
I just bought a 13’ M1 MacBook Pro from Best Buy for $949. They aren’t bad for under $1k
From that previous video of yours, I was influenced to buy the M1 Air…although Mac OS ain’t for me so I switched to an Alienware this year, I still have it and use it from time to time…I love that thing from a hardware and battery life standpoint. This video is exactly why you cannot completely rely on Mac-only specific apps for the rest of your life and no matter how good Logic Pro is, it ain’t worth for me…..anyways great video….
also Dave, for your next QnA, if any, how is an i5 H series paired with 3050 and ddr5 memory along with gen4 ssd for casual gaming? at 1080p….
This is an example where greed rewards the competition. Had Apple pursued a more benevolent approach rewarding loyal customers and enticing possible new ones they would have demolished the competition. Instead they leave the door wide open to them by pursuing a couple more hundred dollars out of the pockets of their consumers. Apple’s worth billions though, so who am I to question them here but it’s an interesting thing to think about regardless. Thanks for another interesting vid Dave!

Sorry guys, but MaxTech proved the M2 absolutely smokes the XPS13+, which is pretty much the best you can get…
8g RAM for a $1000 laptop. No
I am gonna say the same thing I said on maxtech’s channel… intel should just switch to arm right away. I know it’s gonna be hard but please they should.
👍👍wow👍👍biggest double thumbs up👍👍excellent presentation👍👍👍explanation very sharp, short and straightforward to the point👍👍thanks for your useful tips and information👍👍
Nice video. Just one more thing, resale value probably add 10% of apple. It sells like a commodity;)
The MacBook is a beautiful machine but I just can’t imagine my life without Windows. Specially with the incredible good-looking Windows laptops that are out there. Furthermore, upgradable. Finally, the sheer amount of software developed for Windows. You can pretty much do ANYTHING on it. Just imagine it, your Windows laptop will create it.
I am being convinced to buy the zenbook when it goes on sale or a price drop.
