Im curious to see what an m3 or 4 mba could do. Not because i feel the mba isn’t powerful enough, but rather apple used this upgrade gen as a small improvement by increasing wattage and extra gpu. The next gen of M-processors will likely shrink the die and become more power efficient/produce less heat. With improvements like that, i wonder if the benchmarks and reception at that time will give us the same excitement as the m1 mba did

Apple skimping out on the ssd would have an effect on someone like me who doesn’t use the gpu much but who pushes the gpu and unified memory more. So that was a disappointment.

That XPS is beautiful, but im pretty sure it will be impractical as fuck. That cheap copy of the touchbar is extremely worse. And removing 3.5mm jack from a PC?! Even the Macbook 12″ had one. Damn iPads still have one, there is no excuse at all.

Apple really dropped the ball on the pricing. Along with ARM still having A LOT of limitations.. not the best decision.

You might wanna check out the recently released *HP Pavilion Plus 14* as well!!

I’m certain you’ll love it as well!
For $1100 right now, you can get i7 (U-series) + 4GB RTX 2050 (Max-Q ofc but still waaay better than any iGPU I’d presume), 16/512GB, a 14″ 16:10 2.8k 90Hz OLED screen & oh did I mention that it has actual freaking PORTS (2x Type-C, 2xType-A, HDMI, microSD & a 3.5mm HP jack!)
Or you can get get the $999 model with the 12700H only (but I don’t think it’s suited for such a small chassis)

Are any of the other devices fanless with incredible efficiency and power? No? Trash. I have not used my XPS since getting the M1 Air last year.
