Ella, I really enjoyed this video! It’s the first time I’ve watched one of your tech videos, you’ve earned a new subscriber. Specifically I’m relieved to hear your opinion that the base M2 Air will be more than satisfactory for my needs. I ordered one a week or so ago and it will arrive tomorrow but I’ve kinda been second guessing my choice to not upgrade the SSD. So few reviewers give the base model much love but I’m not a power user and figured I’d be ok just using it for internet and videos. Your review makes me feel better about my choice. Do you think the Air will be sufficient for mobile app development? More web stuff at the moment now, but getting more interested in mobile app dev, and wondering whether the Air would be able to handle situations like compiling and building code while running android/ios emulators at the same time. To achieve a pleasant work experience for the said situations, how much ram would I need to stick on to the Air? Any input would be appreciated!

Does anyone else have a problem with the speakers of the M2 air? it creates a buzzing sound whenever I listen to audio that have high frequencies.

Great review. All I’ll need it for will be to remote into my work computer, web browsing, and a little Excel & Word. I might do a video every now and then but it might be 2-3 times a year at most. Based on your review, sounds like the base model will suffice for me. Just wondering, not a fan of big laptop mouse pad, so do you have any recommendation on a mouse?

i picked up the M2 MacBook Air as my first Mac. I really got tired of having to buy a new windows computer almost every 2 years. I love the keyboard and I never listen to music without headphones. I got the 16gb and the 512gb version and I love it! I can edit videos just fine and have yet to see it over heat at all. So for me I think I got just to right laptop for what i need it for.
