How about the 13″ MacBook pro?
Does not it have better battery life cpu gpu under stress performance.

The exact same screen tech minus the notch and 60 pixels.. faster USBC charging but lacking magsafe.
Possibly better speaker sound.

The fan should keep it cooler and longer lasting

And equipped with the same charger and gpu votes they both cost the same.

Seems all YouTube reviewers are giving the 13 MacBook pro no respect and it beats the air at everything including battery life.

The air does have slightly better webcam 729p vs 1080p.

Please give an objective comparison 13 maccbook pro to the 13 MacBook pro.

You should compare the Air M2 vs the Thinkpad X13s. The X13s comes also with an ARM CPU but will beat the M2 when it’s comes to battery life

What do you regard as «heavy workload»? Editing 4k video, obviously. However is rendering 15 minute 1080p videos something you’d define as heavy? Making short <50 line codes in python? Using CAD software?

I’m studying engineering next year and am leaning towards the M2 air 512 gb 16 gb. Saving 200€ on the price, getting a nicer color and a smaller computer for worse cooling is appealing. Is there any reason to wait for the m2 pro to release?

Ok wow, first video on YT that I’ve seen show where & how the MBA M2 can shine and still show how different it can be to other models without saying “I suck!” like many other tech reviews have.

First time stumbling upon the “Created by Ella” channel and it did not disappoint! I watched 3 videos before this one, and this video gave me all the information I needed that confirm and added new information. Why watched several when you can watch one!? Will definitely be using her videos in the future when researching and comparing tech!
