Just get a M1 Air or a 14-inch MacBook Pro. Save yourself a headache of getting the M2 MacBook Air or Pro. If you don’t need the power or features of the 14”, do get the M1 MacBook Air instead. These M2 laptops are sitting in between to the best of Apple laptops ever made (in my opinion). M1 is more than enough unless you care about the design of the M2 (it is a tool, not a artifact) and don’t even get me started on the M2 MacBook Pro and its abomination of a 2022 laptop. I’ll never get how tech YouTubers under the Apple embargo justify this Mac.

Thank you for a great review. I find it’s a refreshing change hearing that someone doesn’t need to upgrade RAM. it seems people can really trust you, as most people out there aren’t using an air to render videos. I don’t even know what rendering means, and I found I was second guessing myself a lot when I saw other reviews (I have the 512 ssd one though). With honest and straight forward review, I did not. Thank you!

I love the form factor but what about just for media consumption and very lite work, Do you just get the base model or up it to the 16gb for better playback, or do I just keep my mini led iPad pro 12.9? Thanks!!

had originally ordered it but since it doesn’t come in stock in the next couple of month I ordered the m1 MacBook in gold gotta say I was skeptical about the color but my god I love it after just some hours with it it is like one of the best laptops I have ever had I haven’t cancelled the order for the m2 basemodel yet but I am going to because I see no reason to go for the m2 instead of the m1 when the m1 costs about 1100 danish crowns less but for my usage is powerfull enough great review as always but thought I would share my own opinion based upon just using the Mac for about 5 hours

A suggestion if I may. I would not use Max Tech music piece in your channel if I were in your shoes. I find your channel uniquely very informative and very pleasant, refreshingly without hype. I would protect that uniqueness. Also, the music piece is highly electronically produced making it more difficult to discern the quality level. I would choose music with natural instruments and unmanipulated voices.
