I have a 2020 Intel i5 MacBook Air 512go, i want to replace it by the M2 256 go MacBook Air, but i have seen the SSD issues for the 256go so do you think it will be a big problem ? I am a student by the way and i usually keep a lot of web tab opens and i open lots of apps, which make my i5 macbook air hot and you can hear the fans

In my opinion, the M2 MacBook Air makes sense for regular User’s which the Base Model is enough. When you want to upgrade the SSD or RAM, you should take an eye of the Pro 14 inch.

Hi Ella. I enjoyed your video so much, thank you for amazing contents. I’m an IT student and it’s been a while that I work on neural networks, for example in my thesis, I use PyTorch to classify some nodes in large social network datasets. I had an 2019 intel MacBook Pro and I sold it, now I wanna buy a MacBook for doing so. As you know Apple has a back to school promotion and I could buy a 14-inch MacBook Pro or an iPad Pro besides an upgraded 16g M2 MacBook air. Which one should I go with? The 14-inch MacBook pro or the combo (iPad +MacBook air) I would like to know if the 16g-ram M2 MacBook air could meet my needs and if there is not much of difference between this machine and the 14-inch Pro model, is it make sense to choose the M2 air and spend the price difference for an iPad. I would be very appreciative if anyone could help me out. Thank you again.

Awesome video! I just have a question in regards to the performance.. What if I am doing a screen share + camera video in teams – how is the performance then, as I actually do this often. On my MB Pro 13 (2019), the fans go to extreme RPM and I have to turn on the volume to hear what the people are saying, but as this one does not have fans, what would happen? Will it start lagging? Thanks in advance to anyone that answers this. This is really the only thing stopping me from buying an M2 MB Air.

I don’t consider the Samsung the flagship windows laptop, but the new Dell XPS 13 Plus. It would be better if you compared the M2 to that.

great vid, u can tell about weight too, ill buying m2 air over m1 pro, coz performance its not that bad comparing to m1 pro, but it weights probably half of it. it makes change for student carrying it everyday!
