really great video! i’m looking to finally upgrade from my macbook pro from 2012 and considering between M1 MBA and the M2, are there significant differences you’ve noticed that are worth more $$ for the M2, or are they generally pretty similar in terms of performance?

I’d rather had seen a wider range of benchmarks, as they seem cherry picked. I am a mac and windows user, but virtualization, gaming and video production with A. I upscaling and the new ARM based silicon had me running back to x86 Intel because of running in rosetta can be frustrating experience in some instances, the lack of vm support is also a deal breaker, Intel mac owners should know this if they have x86 Linux / windows VMs they need to run. Another way apple retains control of the platform, since boot camp support is gone obviously that might change in years to come if Microsoft release an ARM compatible apple silicon version but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Just a criticism, I wouldn’t have compared these macbooks to a samsung laptop, from what I know they are not great laptops. More well regarded laptops such as the dell xps would have been a better comparison imo. Like honestly I was of the opinion that the samsung galaxy book was a piece of crap from what remember pf reviews when it launched. Another criticism would be that the samsung laptop seems to be smaller than the other laptops as well so I feel like it might be more in the class of an lg gram where the performance is compromised as a decision to make the laptop a standout option for portability. REGARDLESS, i love your videos and everything else about this review was top notch. Glad to be subscribed and you have my like.

Hi! There are so many models of hp 15s and i am confused what to buy in the category of “fu” and “tu”. Which is the best for whole day online class, light video editing, school works like Microsoft and light games that are most likely to play in phones. My budget is 40k

The reason the SSD performs at half the speed of the base model vs upgraded model is because the upgraded models contain 2 SSD’ vs the base contains 1 😉
