I don’t see anything shocking about this. The M2 Mac Pro is supposed to be more powerful than the M2 Mac Air else it wouldn’t make sense

I wish it was at the M1 Air price point. Even if they had to use binned M2 chips or something. I would love an M1 MBA with the form factor of this M2 MBA.

If i had this sitting on a fan pad would that increase the performance noticeably? Just thinking light gaming and work on Logic Pro X.

Actually my entire video editing I do on my M1 MacBook Air people underestimate those machines I woke perfectly fine off of mine now most my videos are in 1080p but with a lot of effects and it’s still very smooth work flow. So I’ll definitely save my money to edit more on my M2 MacBook Air.

That’s a shame… i bought the M1 air because it could play with the big boys and do heavy work loads efficiently….. I guess that is the sweet spot, faster chip means more heat and throttling. They should keep M1 in the air but the new chasis

To all the M1 MBA users out there! This is for us, we’ll have to wait for the M3 MBA. Since our machines are still absolutely incredible, it is not worth upgrading for the M2. Let’s save some bucks and don’t waste it on a minor upgrade. For those who are using Intel Macbook please go and upgrade. ^_^

Id rather get an Intel 12th gen system. It’s faster, and they are cheaper. And you can upgrade RAM and the SSD yourself for basically nothing, while Apple charges you hundreds of dollars.

Great vid- but on your next video could you just hold it in different possess to get a sense of the look and feel? Maybe one where you hold it on your side, next to your hip, like you hold a book when you are walking to class. And maybe another one holding it up against your chest like a 50’s girl waiting near her locker talking about her crush… hopefully this made sense. Thank you in advance.
