Thanks for that review! My needs are generally around reading/writing, some podcast recording/editing (simple, nothing too complicated) and editing short YouTube videos (mostly me talking and b roll, nothing fancier). Do you think the M2 MBA is a good choice for this?

2tb of SOLDERED Ssd = 800$ @ Apple. On Windows side 2TB samsung SSd roughly 230$/ Euros and it’s REPLACEABLE. I hope people stop buying apple products for 3-4 years. Not even an adapter.

It looks good. Has a powerful chip for daily tasks. Money is no issue. The fingerprints wouldn’t matter because who doesn’t put stickers on their MacBook? Definitely getting it.

So if I now get an m1 mac mini or an m1 MBA from the app store before they sell the new devices… Will I sill get the two NAND storage for the 256GB option like the older M1 devices? I mean… Can we totally sure this has only affected to new M2 devices instead of new M1s?

I’m a MBP user (early 2015) and I’m already wanting to upgrade bc of the lagging performance. I’m also in college (Business Major) using it only for productivity apps, web browsing, and opening multiple tabs (during research). Do you guys think the base model of Macbook Air M2 is enough??

Ps. love the hardware features of the M2 and the 14″ Pro is too pricey for a student 😩
