MacBook Pro 14 inch is $250 off at Best Buy right now. This makes it close to a tough choice if you plan to upgrade the Air.

I prefer to make my Youtube content on iPhone. It’s so much easier and efficient – especially for sharing ddirect to social media.

I don’t see myself buying a macbook because they suck for PC gaming.

Just checked out the midnight version it’s ok but nothing that wows.
Still think the 120 hertz and mini led on 14 with all the other stuff just makes it a better proposition

Here’s the short version of the video: It’s new, it’s kind of cool!
It’s not worth it unless you have 1500$+tax
And It be better to just get the m1 air or if you spend more than 1500, just get the MacBook pro

Drew, I 100% agree with you. Apple’s consumer Macs (specifically the M1 iMac and the M2 MacBook Air) have become so niche and expensive that they’re super hard to recommend. One of the things that made the M1 MacBook Air so nice was the price ($999) for a solid laptop. But $1399 for the minimum spec of the M2 that I would feel comfortable recommending puts it in a very tough camp, especially if Windows laptops are thrown into the mix. This M2 MacBook Air won’t convert Windows users like the M1 model did…

i think my workflow could be handled by the M2 and when I am traveling I like the size and finless design plus the battery life. Unfortunately I have 2 screens and that totally rules out the M1/M2 series 🙁 I hope they overcome this limitation. I don’t need 4 Pro Displays and a 4K TV but I’d like at least 2 displays

I think this computer is an excellent option for students, business professionals, and many more. Is it substantially better than the M1? Maybe not. But the M1 Pro/Max machines are overkill for many.

If they released an M-# version of 12inch MacBook,it would be unreasonably happy. I’d probably seriously consider getting it as support machine to my M1 Pro Macbook pro.

My theory is that these are the last couple of models apple will be selling with 256gb, so they got rid of the 128gb SSDs, that may be the reason they kinda sacrificed the MacBook Air this year… either way, if I learnt something after buying the 2016 MacBook Pro, is… don’t buy the first iteration of a new design, wait for next year

As a college student, that is the reason I have the MacBook Air m2. I just needed a simple daily drive laptop that did what it needed to very well. I also liked the updated look
