Loved this review. Nice change from all the doom and gloom over this laptop. I’m currently trying to decide between the M2 Air or the M1 Pro. I would upgrade both to 16GB and a 1TB drive. Do you think the Air would handle Lightroom and some occasional Garageband recording with those specs, or am I better to go with the 14″ Pro?

Planning on ordering 16gb/512gb mba2 which will replace 2014 15”mbp, so I expect I will see a huge difference in performance.

Do you guys have any idea how to increase the size of everything in a Mac when its connected to an external monitor, without having to scale down? Aka decrease the resolution?

I have a large 4K monitor, and I want text and everything to be bigger, but when I do that, the output resolution coming from the Mac goes down. Please help!

Hi, actually yes I’ve already ordered a M2 Air which is in the mail. And because portability is first on my list I had to spec it up a bit. The only disappointment I have before I even get it is the 60 Hz screen. Thank you for this optimistic video about the base model. Ps its replacing a 2011 MacBook Pro 14 which still works great, expect for one buzzing speaker. hmm this should be my first YouTube video 😂

Would you recommend for a lawyer? Mainly heavy research so a lot of open tabs, lots of pdfs, textbooks and documents, and hours of Microsoft word. Would this be enough or do I need the pro?
