Magsafe for me would make a real difference in my workflow, but i’m not an average consumer, so i’ll wait until my m1 macbook air dies before changing it.

Yeah I’m getting really fed up with how blown out of proportion the negative videos from other content creators have been about this laptop! i’m getting mine in August and I saw it in Best Buy yesterday and I thought it was a simply amazing little computer 💻 🥰🙌🏻☺️👍🏻 Youtubers are really over exaggerating their negative feedback about this laptop. And it’s a shame they’re doing that! Because this is an exceptional laptop! Deserves to be praised! I’m so sick and tired of people throwing so much shade and hate at the M2 chip.

The amazing thing about the M2 Macbook Air is that when it throttles, it still runs at 85% of its top speed. It still runs well. Unlike Intel laptops which freeze and stutter when they throttle.

That 256GB NaND chip parallelism vs serial explainer made me understand the whole situation from the perspective of Apple and how they need to make sure they make the right decisions. Do I think it was the right decision, yes and no at the same time… I just think outside of the web browsing and Excel sheet light & moderate workloads, 512GB is the way to go long-term! It’s a PORTABLE device. Size and weight are EVERYTHING. Video edit speeds and thermals are irrelevant.
