I am so impressed by this laptop. I was honestly going to return it but, it’s THAT good, that I decided to keep it now!

I just bought the Macbook Air M1 and loving it sooo far. I may upgrade to this M2 15 Macbook Air once the Macbook air M3 is alerady out. hahaha

You’re absolutely correct about upgrading ram. I went with the same 16/256 configuration. I only had 8 Opera tabs, Apple Music and Visual Studio open and Activity Monitor memory usage was 10gb. Many believe 8/512 is the perfect model cuz of faster ssd but that may not me the case depending on workflow.

A MacBook Air is a MacBook Air.
It’s *not* a MacBook Pro. It’s not targeted for Pro-level users.
Windows user here and I’m not defending Apple. BFR here… 🤷‍♂️

I was about to buy 15″ Air 16/512, here it is 50k CZK, but from nowhere one Apple certified retailer stocked M1 Macbook Pros, base 14″ for 40k CZK and 16″ for 47k CZK, brand new, no refubrished ones, no brainer deals, I bought base 14″ M1 MBP. Great machine, just 2k CZK more than base 15″ Air.

some youtuber make an issue on the ssd transfer speed, whereas I’m still rocking my 4TB HDD for my work. For me, if the transfer can be done in like 5 minutes, I can wait, cuz HDD transfer speed is freakin slow.Yyet to buy myself a SSD, samsung T5 seems like a good option don’t you think?

I went with the 16/256 configuration on my 15” MacBook Air also. Primary use is for travel but I’ve used it for some video editing in DaVinci Resolve. This is my first Macbook purchase since 2007 (Macbook Pro and it is still running!) and I’m very happy with it so far. Taking it with me on vacation next week and believe it will handle everything I need.

Great to see real reviews. I just skip those reviews that are just benchmarks as that’s not real world. Agree with the apple silcon its the 8gb ran that’s the bottleneck. Keep up the great videos and hope that S23 Ultra is still keeping you happy in your otherwise Apple ecosystem.
