We’re back to Sculley’s “meh…” Apple again 😒
So I hear you,
But- there is always a bit! What do you use the other products for that you can’t do on the pro? Seriously!
I do writing
Gaming
Coding
Video editing , there is nothing wrong with more juice as it were and letting developers catch up lol
Apple devices last for many years. I have 2018 Pro and 2017 Pro both are rocking as my daily driver is 2018 Pro model which is working absolutely fine. Even if I have to chose 2022 Pro model it would be a good upgrade for me from 2018 model. Yes I was expecting something far better than 2021 model, larger screen but nothing such innovative came out
Tab S8 Ultra owner here. Better screen than the iPad pro 12.9. And just much more fun.
The lack of 24gb of ram with the 1tb or 2tb models is such a pain. Having at least 16gb with 512 ssd m2 iPads would really have been a smart decision, and would possibly justify the price hikes. Looking at it now, it seems less and less tempting, especially considering the very niche uses for the new features, and more importantly the influence of the iPad 10th generation over consumers (landscape camera (even if it meant no inductive charging for apple pencil), and a good smart keyboard folio for prosumers (having a charging port with that would’ve been the dream)). So yes, this tablet refresh is positive in the sense where less money will be dished out compared to the previous years, and this decrease in revenue could possibly force apple to innovate for the m3 iPads with 3nm chipsets (a real performance increase with that 24 core neural engine).
Apple is same shit for years now… coming from an iphone guy
Well said Alex…much like the reality of the ‘overpriced’ MacAir M2 laptop compared with the M1 version etc., Go well! 😉
How you are gaslighted to the point, that you say that misleading marketing by Apple message is your fault? Listen to yourself!
Seems to be a reoccurring pattern going on here😂
Steve jobs would be disappointed 😊
Ok tech reviewers need to start reviewing products from the average person point of view. Its an ipad. Its perfect for what it is. If u want mac os then buy a macbook. Not everyone cares about high refresh rates and whether or not it folds.
I definitely agree here with the new iPad pro. I think that the new base model might be worth it for someone just looking for a tablet. iPadOS really isn’t doing enough but ios apps in general just seem to work better for me than android apps. Hopefully apple figures it out soon and makes a feature more like Samsung Dex because it really is a cool feature.
As a 50 yr old who jumped into the apple ecosystem, it has its great aspects but it does reek of half ass CEO energy. It’s good but it could be soooo much better.
That being said it’s still value for money compared to the money I spent on android hardware every 2-3 years. My work phone is iPhone 7 and it still works.
Why did I upgrade from my M1 iPad Pro to the M2 iPad Pro? I got tired of my WiFi dropping every 30-60 minutes, no matter what WiFi I used (hopefully, 6E and the new chip will put an end to this). I could care less where they place the front camera.
I’m sorry but I might have to watch it again to get the point
I traded my ipad pro 2018 for an ipad mini 6. Love the portability!
My 2020 iPad Pro is happy that I’m not going to let it down for a good few years until Apple decides to up their game. I’m really disappointed with how they give iPads and iPadOS the shortest end of the straw just because it can do a better job than the iPhone and Mac together in terms of productivity 😡
The IPad’s issues are more software-based at this point. The hardware is already in place and M2 further solidifies this point.
Wtf u talking!
What you say is absolutely true. It’s sad that apple sold an M1 and then did nothing with it. The fact that apple has brought its pro apps to the iPad is all you need to know about the pro app situation on the iPad Pro.
