I actually got the base model m1 MacBook Air last year and I sold it for more than I bought it for and I am gonna get the m1 pro MacBook Pro 14

so far the notch is not an issue at all viewing video content it blends right in and out the way. I am extremely happy with this purchase will be getting the 16 inch also to keep in the house as the 14 inch will be my portable when I am on the road. Ps I miss the Touch Bar

what do you folks think of leaving a MacBook Pro permanently connected to a charger?
other than the occasional road trip, my ’12 13.3″ Pro has never been off the charger.
on those road trips it _still_ lasts most of a day.

What happens if the SSD fails after 3-4-5 years? your 2000-3000usd MacBook is useless ? for an SSD? I think that’s a huge red flag.

Unpopular opinion here..

I honestly feel like the new MacBook Pro is a step backwards. It now feels outdated and less premium in comparison to the previous generation, and while I appreciate that they brought back the ports, it came at the expense of its thickness and weight. I just feel that the tradeoffs on this model aren’t worth it.

Hey there! I decide to buy MacBook Pro 2021 14 inch with M1 Pro core. And I’m a student with great use of mobile working including Word and Latex. Also I have to bring my computer all over the campus to go to different classrooms. I only play Hearthstone on computer. Maybe sometimes I will use PS to do some photo processing. Do u think it worths? Or should I buy it? Thx!
