It’s like they’ve ‘maxed’ out (no pun intended) on the internal hardware, and stuck it in an old shell because sleeker designs wouldn’t pack it all in (while maintaining adequate airflow). This is fine with me, but it is SO un-Apple like. Not to mention bringing all the ports back that they got rid of!

the 14 and 16in only go up to 500nits standard brightness. 1000nits while watching HDR. 1600nits i’m certain scenes

It stands higher because of the feet. Does everyone think that Apple is lying when they write 1.55 cm for the new vs. 1.56 cm for the old? : D Put it on the lid, then you can see it better that it’s not thicker 😉

I would be glad if someone can answer my question. Why does MBP(2021)‘s fan go on but MBP(2020)‘s doesn’t? New MBP(2021) has more powerful chip than the old one, I was surprised when it got warm and fan went on. Thanks for the reply.
