I don’t know who designed this but for sure was high, it is fat, ugly keyboard, and it looks like 2015 gen, come on! I do not care what you can do with it but apple’s always cared about the beauty and this is simply awful!

Even though there’s a notch, the mouse goes behind because the OS still respects the bounds of the display. Just think of it this way, there is screen there, it’s just cut out.

I found the sound on the macbook air M1 really bad, extremely muffled compared to my early 2015 mac air (not a loudness problem, a clarity problem) which stopped me from buying one.

Trying to listen to one the other day in a noisy store the 14 inch seems to sound much better, not muffled – perhaps the six speakers and more ways for sound to escape the body: larger grill, vents, and possibly from under the keyboard.

I also think the keyboard is not as nice as the M1 air which was very good, noticably less travel on the 14 inch, so not as nice.
