Hey Josh, nice video! Do you listen Youtube and music on a bleutooth speaker with the M1 Macbook Air? If so, do you notice any bleutooth problems in the sound?
why not ”after 2 years”? lol
Which Dongle or USB hub do you use? Great review by the way! greetings from Chile 🇨🇱
hi, how about bluetooth performance? > headphones, game controllers, mouse/keyboard if you use any. Also how do ports perform with external drives be it SSD or HDD compared to your MBP 2019? I have friend with the same brand new MBA M1 base config and any HDD USB 3.0 external drive is unbearably slow
Touch screen?
I’m a Software Engineer. My regular work is coding and some light work of photo editing should I go for Air or Pro (8GBor 16GB RAM)?
Get the bigger charger. Charges pretty fast even with optimized charging turned on.
Try World of Warcraft. It works great for the M1 .
I love mine – also base model. I can’t imagine needing a new one for at least another year — probably beyond that.
I currently own macbook air from 2017 and the i5 processor there seems sort of… too old? like I can’t even use zoom backgrounds lol
I guess switching to this one would be smart since my battery is already at +700 cycles?
Nice video! I am an iPad only user, but with all the good things being said about the M1s whether it’s the MacBook Air M1 or the Mac mini M1, I am now thinking if I should get one 🤔
Its only good for normal user but for developers not quite there yet. When you can run linux and windows on it through virtualization like you could on intel mac, then it would be awesome
Coming from a maxed out 15” MBP 2015 and looking to get updated. Would this be a good switch? I’m afraid I may freeze this one out in a week knowing the Air’s usual reputation in handling media.
How do you run Rocket League on the M1? Thank you, nice video.
for an entry level it’s amazing how good it is for professionals. I “downgraded” from a 16″ and now use the base M1 Air for web development and occasional design work – runs sweet as. Might even get an iMac in a year from now for the great 5k screen and performance. A nice compact M1 Air + an entry level iMac is probably the same price as a 16″ pro. It’s a no brainer for me getting the best of both worlds + screen. Also not having to be super duper careful of your mobile laptop because it’s a huge fortune.
I was always worried about my 16″ getting damaged but the Air size and weight makes it feel much more robust. That’s my intuition anyway. No fans is a HUGE aspect of the new Air too. it’s something that once you have, you don’t really want to go back. Not having to worry about covering vents with bed sheets, or making noise while watching something quietly. Not going to accumulate dust and degrade performance.
Just such a good balance of , size, performance, heat, fanlessness, and price.
That rocket league clip must be a video clip and not actually gameplay from your mac? I got a mac m1 and rocket league is almost unplayable with the low fps.
I am basically video editor who basically edit wedding highlights…I want to buy this champ (macbook air base model ) If u give me thumbs up… after next moment I will book this…
Needed this video. I 😆🙄🤣
I’m planning to buy the m1 but I’m still not sure about the ram. How was the memory swap in your MacBook?
Where can I get your wallpaper?
