Hi,
Firstly, I won’t buy a macbook air from amazon, because it has an iso keyboard for the European area with Enter an inverted L Secondly, many tests indicate that it is better to buy it with 16GB of RAM. I must buy it from official Apple shop. Thirdly, the whole thing should be added to the HUB with USB 3.0, HDMI and LAN ports. Only then do we have comparable usability with the Macbook Pro 14 M1 Pro. The difference in the price of the updated Macbook Air configuration determines which hardware to choose. After that, I can see the difference between 400 and 500 nits.

I think it’ll be 1099. It really should have a SD card slot. SD really isn’t a pro feature anymore Apple should catch up on that point.

It has been 7 months using my Macbook Air M1, editing/rendering videos in 4K 60fps daily and it’s smooth and handles it really well. It gets hot but cools down really quickly.

I’ll be rocking my M1 MacBook Air for a long time yet. I bought my base model from Apple refurbished for a rather modest $850 and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I’ve always been a MacBook Pro user, however the performance and portability of this machine is nothing short of amazing

I’m willing to wait for the M2 if it’s coming with no notch, but can’t pretty much trust predictions this time. If i’m correct no one has predicted the notch from the pro line up.

I have 10 friends at my schools and 4 of them have the new m1 MacBook air(including me). It’s a beast of a laptop for students. I got one for myself last weekend!

it’s insane that apple will take 2 years to introduce the new version of the macbook air but it probably makes sense as the m2 cpu will take advantage of technology that is still under development, I’m happy to see white bezels and white keyboard too. there’s plenty of windows laptops that can compete with the macbook air including those Asus OLED laptops and touchscreen ones.

The M1 Air has nothing to fear from the 14 inch Pro because of pricing. Theres a reason the air is always by far the best seller and thats because it hits the pricing sweet spot. Its a outstanding value now with the power and capability it packs. I’ve had mine for around a year now and its honestly more power than I need. When you factor in that it already beats last years 16 inch in most cases people who say they need more power are probably confusing need with want
