i was worried about purchasing the 2020 MacBook Air in 2022. bit of hesitation for the older version, now im completely clear about this machine; what it’s providing at this aggressive price range
My guy here milking this product for 2 years. Not throwing shade. I actually bought it because of your beautiful videos! 100% satisfied
I’ve actually saved a lot of money going into the Mac eco system.
That being said I filled the gaming void with xcloud using a controller with my MacBook. (Game pass ultimate subscription)
I Want to see the new MBA Im so thrilled for them in this year, I mean imagine what if they got face ID and the redesing I would love it so much. :3
Please make a video like this for the M1 Mac Mini
Currently got the m1 13in pro and decided to switch to the air. I appreciate the ambition with the touch bar but for me it’s useless :p
I will just wait for the new macbook air
I bought an IPad Air 4 and an M1 MacBookAir in 2022. Best tablet and computer tablet that I have ever owned. I still have an Android phone. It would take a lot for me to go back to a windows pc or an android tablet.
All the hype of the M2 Air, I think it looks childish and a bit like a toy with all the colours and white keyboard, the M1 air looks super premium and well made
I only have 99$ 🙁
Cracking issue is putting me off from buying MBA. Any recommendations on how to possibly prevent experiencing the issue?
The MacBook Air for home use is great. But you have to pay to max out the ram if you want to use it for work. Because there is a clear difference between 8gb and 16gb in its ability to open large files over a network. The 8gb does not cut it, to an annoying and crash heavy degree.
I just purchased my son a M1 256gb version in the uk for £889. For students this is a no brainier. Even when he finishes university in 3 years, we can still sell for £500. Plus I purchased the Microsoft pebble 350 mouse, and it’s spot on.
I should stop wasting money on buying silver coins and pick up a new M1 Macbook Air…. I’m still rockin a 2011 Macbook Pro that was upgraded with a 500 Gb Samsung 860 EVO. Thanks for the great long term review and honest assessment.
M2 macbook air-
450 nits brightness
1080 p webcam (with notch)
Somewhat better speakers
Somewhat better display
Two thunderbolt ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack
Redesigned white bezels with white notch.
“Studio” quality mic (apple technique)
Price 1150-1250
And apple is working on their new chip “M1 Pro max” which they will either use in the mac pro or 27 inch iMac coz come on who is gonna buy a tower with the same chip a laptop provides? They will announce M1 Pro max in wwdc and probably put it in the mac pro in september.
Zenbook 13 with AMD gets on par with M1 battery life in tests – the question is: would that stand in “real world usage” environment? Probably not.
After 6 long months of debating whether to purchase M1 or wait for the M2, after 6 months of trying to find the best deal of used/new M1, speculating and being frustrated I’ve finally went to the Apple Store and bought a new MacBook Air M1 8GB right after watching this video. I’m so happy and so relieved now. Thanks Max, your advices were the last nail in the coffin.
I have cancer
I got the fully specced out m1 air
I don’t care about anything but if the M2 Air comes out with a white keyboard and bezels, I’m buying the M1.
