I really struggle between air and the new 14 pro. I’m going to learn machine learning and i’m afraid the air won’t hold up to the task but air is the best value i can afford

I’m coming up on a year with my Macbook Air M1. Not my first Mac as I’ve never owned one new until this one but this Macbook Air M1 is one of my best purchases. I returned a Windows PC from Costco to get this. Best move ever.

I recently got the m1 with the basic specs with 256 ssd. I’ve watched a few videos saying that 256 is not enough and will last no longer than 2 years. Can you advise?

You’re not alone, I’m waiting for mine and it’s a base model too. But I’m only going to edit 1080p videos with it, so it’s gonna be a major upgrade!!!

I literally just bought the exact same configuration as you, 16/256 with 7c. I already have a crazy beefy windows laptop that powers 3 monitors so this mac will be super overkill just for lab work and lecture notes, and i am very happy you made this review to confirm my choice of purchase is correct

Damn that iPhone mic sounds descent to me! They are just the best in smartphones… YOU WILL BE BLOWN AWAY BY HOW IMPRESSIVE THE MIC SOUNDS ON THE NEW MacBook Pros THO!
