Windows, Intel and OEMs really need to come up with a game plan because Apple will start eating market share away. There’s no Windows alternative to these new machines.
In the next year or two Apple will continue to increase the performance and efficiency gap and when their redesigned Macs come with Mini LEDs and Face ID they’ll be better value and I suspect a lot of casual Windows users will jump ship. Professionals might stick to windows as MACOS might not have the Applications they rely upon but regular users who do mostly browsing, YouTube, Netflix, some photoshop, MS Office, Google Docs etc will get into the Apple ecosystem because Windows laptops aren’t able to compete against Apple Silicon Macs.

Dual external monitors are supported on the M1 Mac if you use a DisplayLink docking station.

I don’t think storage is that important nowadays, I have the 256 gb m1 macbook pro and I haven’t saved anything on it lol. I have google drive, onedrive and icloud so I don’t need to download any photos or videos because I stream (netflix, disney+, amazon). Apple knows what they’re doing

I so deeply regret that I bought the very latest Dell XPS 13 few months ago, it was crazy expensive and loaded with power, so I did expect it it to behave like a rocket, in some ways it does, the fan noice is bloody annoying, and again these Windows updates takes hours, will soon giving it away or throw it in the recycle bin.
And the most annoying thing is that there are so many tech reviewers out there saying it’s the best piece, assumable they are on the Dells payroll scheme🤬

MacBook: Better screen, better keyboard and trackpad, better sound, twice the performance, slightly cheaper, premium-aluminum design despite the bezels, better customer support…

After 5 intel chipped laptops throughout the years I am done with them. All five laptops required the fans to be so annoyingly loud just to keep the CPU temps in check. I just purchased an m1 MacBook and there’s no going back. Intel would need to completely reinvent their CPU architecture to compete.

I have been using windows for all my life and I was really craving the XPS 13, but this M1 looks amazing and maybe it’s time to switch. The only thing that bothers me is the bigger bezels.
