I refuse to call what the new M1 macs have as Thunderbolt. It’s definitely not Thunderbolt 3 at least. It’s USB4. Anyone saying otherwise is ok with the gimped version of the port Apple provided with the external display limitation and non-eGPU support.

I wish Apple would build a monster laptop for the business community. Not being able to run Excel on the new platform shuts down a slice of those that might switch over.

The real question is >not< XPS vs. M1 MacBook. The real question is instead M1 MacBook vs. Lenovo Slim 7 (Ryzen 7-4800U). On the PC side, the question is XPS vs. Lenovo Slim 7 Carbon.

I’m a SITH, you must buy x86 laptop!😂 As someone who hasn’t owned an Apple computer since the original 1984 Macintosh I’m looking to get the M1 MacBook Air. I love the idea of a fanless laptop that doesn’t compromise performance. As always another great review Lisa!

I’ve used macbooks before They’re honestly a great piece of hardware.
But I recently got an XPS 13 developer edition. I don’t envy the MacBook at all.
Dell has done an excellent job supporting Ubuntu. Salute to Dell.

I bought the xps 15 recently. Seriously, Dell needs to get points knocked off for their QC. I went through three laptops before they shipped me one with minimum issues. it’s like they spent all their $ on design and didn’t invest in quality control smh
