What about issues with keyboard covers cracking the display? I want one of these but I keep hearing you’re not supposed to because of this.

i would not drink or eat on my macbook pro. I’ll still get water damage that thing is not covered. the mobo dies that’s already a grand for repair.

Usually with a keyboard cover there is some humidity, sweat when I retire the cover

Having a mac is a pain in the ass, I have the same model and I have used it for two months (not even constant use, just for creating a slides presentation), the space bar already has a wear stain and is unbelievable how easy the keys get oil stained. I decided to get a cover for the keyboard only to find out it could damage your display, apple doesn’t recommend closing your machine with the cover on, the keys are cheap as hell. It really bothers me how the keys get oily and I am a clean person, I don’t even eat while working on my mac.

I have the ghost cover but you should have gotten the smoked black one, it look much better then the regular clear one yo got sine its not as noticeable on your keyboard.

When closing the laptop, does the keyboard cover leave an impression on the screen? because sometimes it does with these extra layer on top of the existing keyboard.
