just got mine 2 days ago and I am very impressed by it. Faster and more powerful than my Ryzen 5 laptop – video editing with Final Cut is a breeze as is photo editing…… Will do me for a mobile work station, planing to get the base studio max for when I am at home (soon).. I have the M1 mini but like my new Air especially with the 2k screen…. trying getting that on a base PC Laptop at the same price and they will laugh at you…. love your video man……

I would just love to see a 16 inch or 15 inch air with minimum 16gb of ram. Or just want to see if the new models might make the 1st gen drop in price in the used market.

My usb c adaptor gets very hot when connected to the monitor. Do you have the same issue?

Just bought mine a week ago and I’m pretty happy with it. It definitely beets every single windows laptop in this price range and probably 90% of the higher classes. I’m working in an office and the keyboard on the mac is far better than the machines I’m using there. The trackpad is so good that I’m not even thinking of getting a mouse. My opinion is that it’s more than worth buying it in 2022.

i’m getting my first ever Macbook M1, but which one should i get: M1 Macbook Air with 16gb ram or the base model of M1 Macbook air with 8gb ram?

Im going to use it for school….word, excel, powerpoint, Discord, browsing, Netflix and youtube.

Got mine few days ago. I’m happy with the purchase. it’s 1480 for 16gbram and 256 gb compared to 1849 for 16gb ram and 256gb for m2 MacBook Air.
I don’t bother about things like future proof. I’ll probably be tempted to get new laptop in 4 years time anyways, whether I got the MacBook Air m1 or m2.
