Thank u helping my for New MBP 13”
I got that 2.4ghz 256gb for 1500 i’d wait for a deal that is coming up as bestbuy gave some insane apple prouduct deals earlier this year. The base macbook pro 1.4ghz is a solid deal anyone who is a student that should be more than enough though that extra clock speed will come in handy for more intensive stuff. Though the obvious choice if you have the money hands down is the 15in MacBookpro $2400 option probably the best bang for your buck especially if you see it on sale. Really contemplated getting it and in truth still have my regrets.
Bit of a piss take to remove two ports, the refresh 2018 came with 4 ports and a quad core. Be interested to see a comparison Luke.
Good review. But still an expensive entry level macbook pro, well at least here in the Netherlands. €1500 ($1690) for the base model…
Don’t know how people live with 128 Gigs of storage. It really limits the usability of this device.
Hey I wonder if the size is problematic is terms of comfort ? Knowing that it could be my first MacBook.
Seems strange to pair an eighth gen with DDR3 in 2019 but I assume that’s why it’s the base model
A 61W charger just doesn’t sound right for some reason 🤔
Could you compare this computer to the 2013 retina 15″ MBP?
But this model only has 128G ssd, it is too small.
To be honest, even though the noise isn’t great, it’s nice to see apple actually allow the fans to spin up rather than maintain quietness at a detriment to performance
I’m always surprised you don’t have more subscribers, while I’m not the biggest apple fan (my only apple device is a 2015 air I got simply for the impeccable battery life), you present things in a clear and concise way that make it very pleasant to watch.
I had toyed with the idea of getting this (or the MBA) to play around with SideCar (I tried with my 2015 MBP15 but it was terrible). However I don’t want the touchbar, and I would prefer not to have the keyboard. Two factors that stop me from getting a lighter replacement for my battleship.
‘it’s worth paying for the $1500 over the $1300 to get the 256gb ssd over the 128gb ssd’ – ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND!!!
WHO IN THERE RIGHT MIND WOULD PAY AN EXTRA $300 FOR AN EXTRA 128GB SSD SPACE WHEN YOU CAN BUY A EXTERNAL USB-C 128GB SSD FOR LESS THAN $40!!!
I THINK YOU SHOULD TELL YOUR VIEWERS THAT THE INTERNAL UPGRADE FOR $300 IS NOT WORTH IT
Look at new macbook pro (1.4ghr)

Thanks for the review. It was a very smart conclusion.
You should install linux on it
Does it have two fans or one like the previous model?
The 128GB and only 2 Thunderbolt ports is a bitch move, except from that it’s great
Still lots of better alternatives in the Windows ecosystem. But if you are up to MacOS, then yes, is a “good” laptop.
The integrated card is pretty poor and better not comment about DDR3 RAM, the same that uses a Late 2011 MacBook Pro…
