*Why do we have to buy a MacBook Pro just to get normal speaker grills? They should give the air normal speaker grills aswell. Every laptop no matter how cheap has speaker grills.*

This could very well be the first laptop I will buy new since 2008 when I bought a 15″ core duo MBP new. This M2 air sounds like paradise!

Now make an 11-12 inch Air Apple. We miss the 12inch design.

I know they won’t. That’s what the iPad’s for, but it’s just more convenient and powerful to have proper MacOS in a laptop format.

I think the M3 will be a mind blowing chip. This 3nm chip will blow everything else away. So will you wait for it or just go with the M2 (I think it is a placeholder)?

My dream MacBook would be this new MacBook Air with the display quality (higher resolution, mini led, 120hz) of the MacBook Pro 16. Combine the amazing display that once I’ve used (on the m1 iPad Pro) I can’t ever not use with the thin and light design of the Air

honestly, I keep wondering, if you don’t do any photo editing or light video editing or something that requires those hardware encoders, or the bigger screen of the 15 inch model, why do you need to pay 800, 1000 or 1200 bucks for a laptop you’re just gonna use for youtube and typing into ms word. If you want the battery life, get an arm chromebook, if you want the apple ecosystem get an older, cheaper macbook. They’re nice and all that, but 90% of the people who buy them, don’t really need them, it’s like buying a lambo just to go to the store

iMO they should just drop the “AIR” branding and jsut call it what it is, a macbook. apple defaced the “air” brand by getting rid of the wedge shape design and making it look like a macbook pro
