You must to do video about oll dhe MacBooks
I took a look at this in the store and even though it’s only 0.1 inches smaller screen than my old 2017 15″ Pro (15.4 inches)… it seems noticeably smaller than I’m used to (by perception). That might be the taller screen ratio… but I think it’s mostly from the smaller bezels…. I know they aren’t in fashion, but I think the black frame of bezels on the tapered MacBooks make the screen seem bigger and stand pout more instead of being a cm from the metal frame of top case. I also own a recently purchased MacBook M1 Pro 16-inch, which is 0.8 inches larger than what I’ve been using for years, at 16.2 inches, it is only 0.5 inches wider, meaning content on the screen is barely larger and in a editor I get 3 more lines (50 vs 53 lines). Though it would be closer to +5 if the notch area wasn’t using up vertical space. My point from this rambling? I think that is the 15-inch Intel MacBook at the best screen (no notch!) in a machine that could comfortably be used in your lap and carried from room to room (at 4 pounds). I’d sell both my machines if I could just get that exact machine with an M1 processor.
M1 MacBook Air is still the best laptop ever made.
I wish they made a 16 inch MacBook Pro in Gold, I’d buy it.
I traded in my 14 M1 Pro for a 15 Air with 16GB/1TB… I never used the “pro” features and I missed the screen real estate of my old 15 Pro. Promotion and the LED display will be missed but the size of the screen is great and it’s lighter than my 14. Also thinner design is sooo much better for typing, no rubbing into my wrists and I love the larger trackpad. Loving it so far!
Lol
Would love to see the buyers guide. I am still using an M1 MacBook Air base model config and it works great. I also think for a buyers guide, it would be interesting for the Pro users, to focus on how many displays you can actually have with what resolution on the M1 Pro/Max MacBook Pros, etc, since it’s not exactly clear in Apple’s information about them. Awesome video.
keyboard n screen kinda sucky?
never noticed that purple Air background actually spells out A I R in the design… trippy
15″ great option, it will be #2 sales rank behind the 13″
apple buttlicker
Its not cause my lawyer bag is for 13 inch
You should try swaping the logic boards, even without screwing. It most likely won’t work, but would be great to make sure!
Could be the best unfortunately it has no WIFI 6E what should be the minimum standard nowadays
I think I’ve been watching too much of Linus cause when he was testing the speakers I was fully expecting crab rave.
Just another apple fan monkey 😮😆😮😆😮😆
I like a lot of travel and heavy feedback in my trackpad click, does the 15″ Air have the ability to adjust the travel with the set screws like you used to be able to do on the older MacBook Pros?
I wanted this 15″ Air for so long but now I’m leaning towards a gently used 2021 16″ M1 MBP as they are cheaper once you upgrade the Air to 16 gigs of ram. Thanks Apple.
Base configuration is really good value. Storage and RAM upgrades are criminal.
I dont get it when people take being “fanless” as an advantage!! that is a big time disadvantage
