Eh. I like the SE. Have had both of the last models. Have used the same case for both. Everything is exactly where it’s always been, Touch ID worked great with a mask on for the last 2 years. Battery lasts me the day usually, and fits easily in the pocket. Not exciting at all, but eh, it’s a phone.

Will prob upgrade to the SE 22 at some point (no rush), and will just pop the old one out of the case, and the new one in. Couple of hours later after everything has synched, muscle memory still works exactly as it did with the older phone.

They’re experts using old bodies and charging a premium for that. Seems like a cool update and being Apple, it isn’t crazy expensive, but it would be nice to see a body update for the next one. Say, iphone XR body with A15 chip.

I love my iPhone and haven’t upgraded from it because I didn’t like the newer iPhones design without the home button. So I had just decided I was gonna run my current 8 until it just wouldn’t function anymore. I will likely be grabbing this one for that A15 chip

My youngest daughter has the 2020SE and it’s so easy to use, even for a small child. Perfect phone. Almost. But man that battery. She obviously plays a lot on it, but she can kill the battery two times a day (If and when we let her use it that much).

As always what kills this phone for me is the battery life, I can live with all it’s other shortcomings, but I need my phone to last the whole day.

This phone is not designed for us in the tech sphere. It’s easy to pick apart the screen, small battery, single camera, aged body design, and on and on, but the people buying this device only want a few things: A low cost phone that is simple to use, is familiar, and will last until the end of time. For that reason, when someone asks me which phone to buy and they could care less about tech, the answer is always iPhone SE.

Why they didn’t use a buddy of an iPhone 8 plus to made this new SE They already have that design So no need for new resources or changing that design At least you can have a bigger battery bigger screen and deal camera set up on the back Also they can put a 90 Hz refresh rate on the screen

It’s funny that the iPhone 8 does 4k60. Pretty sure a lot of people forgot about that. And even today, at $430 there’s very few, if any, phones that do that in this price point.
