IPhone 8 was outdated even in 2017. The iPhone 7 was also outdated. You have to go back to the iPhone 6s to where this design was mainstream

i think next year they will use iPhone 11 and name it iphone se at same price or 450$ and then the iphone 12 and 13 both will drop 100$

The fact that this phone hasnt night mode is ridiculous…iphone se 2 launching at 399$ with charger and earpods. Se 3 64gb base model in 429$ with nothing in the box. I cant understand the logic…This is a mobile phone whose construction at apple doesnt cost a three digit number and it sells at tive times more.

Its a complete waste and ripoff at that price buy some nice android like S20fe or Mi11t . Globally it costs around 649$ 🤮🤮 . Or buy 2ñd hand 12pro

There are budgets phones with better battery, with better screen (edge-to-edge, and oled, 90Hz) but with a chip that is terrible. So, is A15 Bionic really worth giving up others things? Unless if you’re gaming on this phone, than no. SE is not worthy!

Was expecting an updated design looking at all the leaks but it’s Apple so not really surprised…
If they were to provide a fullscreen front with a better display, I bet this would’ve been one of the best budget phones in the market. Only positive thing about the old display would be that we still get the TouchID lol…
I’d personally pass on this…. but can’t wait to see what the next SE brings…. If we’re lucky we’ll get something like the XR body with new chips, now that’s GOLD!

For me, I would like a better, newer experience. Sure the A13 is more powerful than the budget chips on Android devices, but I would imagine that the experience on a OnePlus Norid or a Samsung Galaxy A52/53 would be better. The screen difference alone is the better experience imo.

from what i can think of, they could just go with the 8+ body then use the a14 and still get 5g connectivity also but yeah it already happened so let’s just enjoy what apple gave us

here in brazil it is going for 2500 BRL promotional price for what ive seen. it is cheap for an iphone and it is cheap-ish for a phone. samsung cheap SKUs are like 1800 to 2000 so yeah it is kinda good deal for the chip. Miss a home button, but the bezels are huge.

Dear Marques Brownlee, it would be very helpful to have a person like you to shine a light on PWM sensitive people in combination with what apple has been doing. There is a group of users, that can now handle iPhone’s OLED screens since iphone X and up. The only phones those iPhones those people can use now are: iPhone 8, 11, SE 2020. (I’m leaving out older than 8). Those people, including me only have this SE 2022. My 13 Pro Max is sitting on a shelve, I can’t use it because its screen literally makes me sick. Maybe this is inspiration for a future video at some point in time. Nice video. Keep up the good work.
