The price should be 349 dollar for 64 gigs of storage ..its 2022 everyone atleast need 128 gb so for 429 dollar people should get 128 gb model

Using an iphone 8 plus body with ultra wide cam can solve all the issues he mentioned 🤭 except for the bigger size.

My mum has the last iPhone SE. So to her, that IS an iPhone. Like every iPhone to her so far is the same, if not worse than this.
She is never going to do anything more with her phone, so the chip is way over kill.
The camera is also good for her, but she takes photos with the flash on ALL the time. So her pics in lower light but not dark, all come out with a red tinge to the top left.
I agree that a better screen would be great, but that home button fingerprint sensor is a huge plus for older people.
I seriously think that the SE is probably their best selling / consistent selling phone, year round. They have a huge influx of people buying the new phone each year. The die hard Apple fans. But I think that number has been going down year over year for a decade.
This formula is consistent, and getting apple those consistent buyers, year round when people need to upgrade or lose their phones.
She recently retired and had to give back her work phone, which was an iPhone SE. So even businesses and corporations buy this phone for employees.
When she asked me about getting a new phone I explained all the benefits to a new phone and she went with the SE anyway because all she did was banking and games on it. Easy as that. Will it play my new games and will all my photos still be accessible / sync with a new device.
Just my 2 cents. With 1.1k comments at the time of writing I doubt anyone will even read this.

Hopefully some day Apple will make brand new equipment where it’s users can select features on the spot and not have to turn down or off features to get enough battery to last the day?

😀 I’m not sure why I should see better value in a product like the SE2022 there…

working in wireless made me realize old people are gonna love all of this phone, also great for starter phones for young kids. price won’t matter because carrier discounts.

what they want is a system that “just works” and they’re familiar with. add find my iphone family features. these same customers will add icloud storage without thought lol so storage size won’t be a problem.

want better features? get iphone 12 discounted or 13 with trade ins.

I think what they should’ve done is use the XR body, use Touch ID on the power button. Remove Face ID and then A15. You’re getting the updated design language but with cut down features.

I still wonder why can’t they use iPhone 8+ with dual camera for SE or use iPhone X body and change stuff make it around 500$ it would still be great and sell like hot cakes
