My wife is ready to update her iPhone SE 2nd gen. I waited to see this phone, then promptly ordered her the iPhone 13 mini. Better camera, display, and battery for a better price with AT&T trade in deal. The biggest drawback is that she’s not excited about losing the home button. But I think she’ll adjust quickly enough once she’s changed over.

Whatever, people will buy it anyways. Meanwhile in Android-land: 5G phone with metal and glass build, water resistance and great oled screens, fast performance and a big, fast charging battery for 400 bucks. Clear.

Honestly iPhone SE is never a good recommendation. You better go with another brand which has more features at that price or add up some money and get the non pro IPhones.

For me personally if it was thicker to accommodate a bigger battery that makes it a battery champ akin to the 13 pro max then i would consider it. At least it has enough design elements that being a battery champ would not eat into the higher end phones sales…it has thick bezels, smaller display, no faceid and a single camera but at least having a compact phone that lasts and lasts would be nice for people like me who are not really into having the best camera possible or highest end features but just have a pocket rocket that keeps chugging along. Something i feel the mini should have been
