Everything about this phone is the same as the previous SE and even the iPhone 8 but just new chipset. Wtf is wrong with Apple? Why would anyone buy this? I’d rather buy an iPhone 8 256gb than the base model of this phone and still save so much more money. If this sells well then i feel sorry for millions of people that Apple have brainwashed

Any physical upgrade or changes @that price point will challenge the iPhone 13 mini, & will stop iPhone mini from selling, iPhone xr once beating the iPhone x
Because of those upgrades. Apple knows the business.

I think this is a winning formula. new internals in old body. You are able to upgrade what matters to most people while keeping costs down instead of half-ass’ing all the features with budget bin parts. Being deliberate about what you are upgrading to make sure those features are done correctly is more honest than trying to do everything at a lower price.

apple gives you small battery because they want you to need more recharge. that will lower battery life in half.
apple gives you small display in media consumption era, to torture you until you give up and buy more expensive model.
but apple doesn’t want you to buy an android and sell this crap for “cheap” price.

this is nothing to do with production line. even smallest android manufacturers can make new phone designs every year with success.
companies like apple can make 1000 models with %0.1 of their profit. machining and tooling is not that expensive.

how much processing power do you need to run instagram and tiktok ?
