They are not keeping the old design to save money in the way you are speaking about. They are keeping it in order for it not to compete with iPhone 13. Very smart move by Apple. The do similar things with pricing on iPad devices and storage upgrades. Apple’s pricing strategy is very well thought out.

Love the home button, one of the reasons I didn’t buy the newer phones. And also the notch… using the 2020 Se model. So far so good

Id be great if the next iPhone SE will have the same size as the iPhone X. Bring back the 5.8”, don’t care if its lcd and has a little bit thicker bezels (I’d be better if its oled but its very unlikely). Just modernize the phone Apple..

I was expecting this year’s se to change in form factor and maybe much more like Iphone xr 2 you know maybe much thicker bezels compared to 13 but still an Iphone 10 form factor maybe plastic body and maybe toss a ultrawide camera not so great 720p screen on the front price it maybe like 519 or smt would be much better. But at the end of the day who am I to judge 🤷🏻‍♂️

Still using my iPhone 7. It does the job but the processor cannot keep up with multiple apps, it even live remixes my music on Spotify when im switching apps. This phone is tempting for half the price of a Pro but hopefully the iPhone 14 Pro is a significant jump on the current generation.

I mean it’s perfect for younger kids, older folks, and people who just want a phone to work. This phone with the A15 chip, can work 5-6 years into the future with OS updates while other midrange phones will suffer from maybe 1 OS update and failing hardware issues.
