OLED screen, a second camera, and a better battery are all it takes to make this phone the best phone for most people.

I have mini 13 and I’m dumping it for the se 3. I may be only in my thirties but I suffer from extreme rheumatism and this is the only phone remaining that I can touch the top of the screen without stretching my thumb to reach the top of the screen risking injury. It also more receptive and far far less fiddly to what you want to do at the edge of the screen without having to really concentrate on trying to touch the edge where the mini 13 wont do as you want, for example ladders to drag and rearrange a list. And although the phone is ever so slightly longer, the weight distribution and slim design makes it feel as if the phone is lighter. Although the phone is heavier the weight distribution means that it is less painful and less heavy to hold than the mini 13. The fingerprint button also mitigates repetitive strain of the upward swipe between apps on other models. I only perhaps wish my white one had a white frontage like iphone 4 era. Anybody who suffers from rheumatism and osteoarthritis will benefit greatly from using this phone over any other in the market

Still using the iPhone SE 1st gen, I bought in 2017 I actually just upgraded to the 3rd gen!! Now the wait begins for shipping

Make it a bit thicker, fit more battery in. I personally traveled 5Km to check the phone out physically and its really thin. And believe me, in my case: I wished it was a bit thicker. I can’t also state how much it needs a headphone jack. 90Hz display would be really nice, it would feel like the SE series was refreshed.

It’s hilarious how consumers and reviewers are so hypocrites when it’s about Apple. They’ve been attacking Sony for never changing their design and keeping the huge bezels on their phones but when Apple does it they ignore it. Besides the better chipset the SE is a phone with design and specs from 2014 begin sold in 2022 and if it was any other manufacturer doing so all reviewers would be attacking them heavily. Double standards much.

Btw, the FE lineup from Samsung is delivering way more bang for buck than this SE.

I absolutely despise the edge-to-edge displays of newer phones where you can’t even hold the phone with one hand without accidentally touching something with the palm of your hand. So the one thing that people seem to label as an outdated design negative is actually a positive to me. Looks like it’s time to move on from my old 1st gen SE. Since I would never spend the money on a mini (even if it had a fingerprint sensor on the back instead of faceid) this seems like a perfect fit for me.

I’m not a gamer or a heavy user. I wanted SE 3 for the small size and the A15 chip. A compact,slim,budget friendly,powerful phone that fits nicely in one hand and doesn’t bother you when u put it in your pockets. Love this phone.

The reason they use the iPhone 8 body(In my opinion) Is because a lot of people still want a phone with a home button. I just got my Parents their first ever phone and I got them the SE, because they like the home button and it’s a safety. If they don’t know where they are on the phone, Boom. Press the home button and they are back to a familiar place.

Many people like myself simply do not want a phone with all the gadgets and gimmicks that new phones have. A basic phone with a decent camera and the basic necessities is all people like myself want or need for that matter. The iPhone SE delivers that. I don’t care about the gigantic displays of newer phones, I don’t like the fact that many phones have gotten so large. Really I have only two complaints about the iPhone SE, the battery life and the proprietary charging port Apple insists on using.
