One thing I like about iPhone is updates. I bought Samsung S6 edge for $800 and within 3 and half years Samsung was no longer supporting updates. I felt cheated. iPhone 7 is still getting updates yet Samsung S9 is not getting updates. Pathetic from Samsung.

I think the target audience for the iPhone 2022 is the older crowd who aren’t interesting in anything cutting edge. Old phone for old dogs.

Edit: The home button is a big selling feature for older iPhone customers. It is an easy decision when compared to the 11 or 13 mini.

I like it because it is old school like my original iphones. I just left the store and was looking at one. The home button did not feel positive and felt like it was weak almost. Concerned about it breaking.

I’m a former iPhone user and I switched to a Galaxy A50 at the end of 2019 however security updates end after this year and I’m leaning towards this phone cause I want something smaller, fast, and with a physical home button with fingerprint. This phone fits perfect

I guess they could use a body of Iphone 8 plus rather than 8, so it would be big and 2 camera and would justify and would sell way better and be a super hard competition for the competition

This phone should have wide & portrait camera for objects for that price. Apple shame on you, Samsung treat their consumers better way.

I always rock this phone. Like the home button but do wish camera was better and had the .5 feature. My biggest issue with this phone is the same issue I have with all iPhones- that I cannot switch between front and back cameras during filming.

They will change the design to the iPhone 11/12 body once they come up with a new design which does not have a notch. So then we’d move from chunky bezels to ugly notch. They undersell on the aesthetics. Strangely, I still find the touch button design cleaner than that chonky notch with Face ID.
