I think, I just think that for ~200 dollars, the iPhone 13 mini is just more worth it. Its better in mostly everything and for barley anymore money. I don’t know just my opinion Igz.

Don’t buy this. It’s outdated. I have been using SE2 for a year and a half. What good is the speed when your battery degrades over time, and you know that your replacement battery will not be very good… I could swallow that chin and forehead a year and a half ago, but not any more…. Buy a mini. The screen is an LCD 60hz too, so it’s back to 2015… And that is ancient history…

I’ve been considering getting an iPhone, lately, but in Australia, the iPhone SE is still an $800 phone to buy outright. I’d be giving up USB-C, losing about a third in battery life, and I won’t be able to use Mobile Myki (Melbourne’s public transport card). If Apple didn’t just take the US price and double it, in what we like to call the Australia Tax, it might be worth it.

All older models of iPhone…
6s, 7, 8 have been deliberately slowed down to make iPhone SE look like a better buy due to lackluster sales.

I am using iPhone 7 Plus and it was blazing fast before all of this. The only thing I did was update to 15.4.1 and it have slowed down considerably.

World Class Chip with extreme longevity. Yes hands down. This phone will get updates for next 6 to 8 years easily. What about Android phones of the same price range? Huh?

I’ve actually been closer to getting an iPhone, probably this one cuz I’m broke, than I ever have been in my life before. I’ve always kinda been staunchly anti-apple just due to their arrogant, elitist attitude, anti-consumer behavior, and price structure for their products, not to mention the walled garden and closed ecosystem they absolutely REFUSE to even consider changing. Mostly in the name of profit (yet they claim it’d always for some noble cause like the environment or some shit 🙄). But recently, I cannot deny, that even with all that said, Apple just makes damn good products, with longevity and a premium quality to them. My Android Moto G stylus has gotten much slower and buggy over time, it’s about to stop getting software updates only two short years after getting it, and the battery doesn’t last super long and never really did, despite being 4000mah to begin with. Apple supports their products for a LONG ass time with software and security updates. For YEARS. Their products last… FOR YEARS. The iPhone SE won’t slow down for a long ass time due to the absolute over powered SOC it has, whereas my android started slowing down a little about a year after I got it, and it’s slowly gotten worse. I’m on disability, which is very meager, and I cannot afford to have to update my phone on a frequent basis. I just don’t have that luxury. Getting even an iPhone SE would allow me to have a phone with solid performance for years to come. Obviously I’d have to make sacrifices switching to that as opposed to a cheaper yet newer moto G stylus or equivalent like a smaller screen, battery, etc. But it’s starting to feel like it might be worth it. IDK yet for sure, but I might actually make the jump when I said I would never do so. Android can be a buggy mess over time and iphones just WORK. Plus my airpods pros would work better with an iPhone over an android lol
