From a practical standpoint, this is an amazing phone. Reason being why I’m going from a 11 to the SE.

When I moved to America last year I was forced to get an iPhone because of the whole iMessage facade and also my sister had gifted me an apple watch but I didn’t own an iPhone to pair it with . I didn’t want to spend a fortune on getting a top end iPhone because I already had a flagship s21 as my main phone so I bought a second hand iPhone SE for $260. It’s pretty good for what it is. All I use it for now is iMessage and with my apple watch. 😂😂😂

if they were to make an iphone SE + that’s like the Iphone 8+, that’d be an instant buy for me. I don’t like the swipe phones with the notch, and for that reason I still have my 8+.

It’s not that Apple couldn’t make something slightly better than the SE and the 13 or that it would cost them much more. It’s a very careful marketing consideration, if you make the SE too good you’re cannibalizing potential iPhone 13 buyers. Apple has always been bittersweet in that sense, adding basic want-features to flagships only that come with a higher price tag and additional frills and weight that you might not really need.

I really wish they would use an iPhone XR body. I think this will be the last Iphone we see with a home button from them. Same thing for the base ipad 10th gen. If the ipad 10th gen doesnt have a home button this year, & an Iphone Se Plus comes out March 2023, I would expect the iphone SE plus to take place of the iphone 11 or 12 spot in the apple lineup at $499.

In a world of profit… it’s a good budget for them and a good budget for you. I personally can’t get over the body of the iPhone 8. I’m sure there’s a huge market still so it’s a win win,

The design is great. It’s a phone and has a perfect slim design that’s easy to use and feels great. You “keep up with the joneses” types are a nightmare. As well I can use my UAG case from my Iphone 8 on any SE. However for people like you; what’s great this year or the one before becomes mediocre in your eyes real fast or the complaints start to mount. 99.99% of the clowns on youtube/tiktok are making videos for attention and clicks; so creating content IS NOT what most people use their phones for. You’re like 5yo’s tearing through one toy to the next toy. Some designs are near perfect and the iphone 8 was and is a great design. Glad that Apple carried the design through to the SE line and for many years to come. BTW at the end of the day the iOS development is more important than a cell phone chassis. However you wouldn’t understand that mate; based on how you think! Cheers & Peace!

No Night Mode is really a plus, trust me Night Mode has ruined hundreds of indoor photos for me. Only in iOS15 have they finally allowed Night Mode to be turned off permanently by the user.
