If we get an 8th gen ipod touch, I hope they finally make it look more like an iPhone se instead of the 5 series for over 3 generations, come on Apple! Give the gen 8 version if the ipod touch 8th gen will still be around

I still wish they also announced se plus with the design of iphone 8 plus…which pretty much solves all the problems of small screen and battery life.

As someone who has an iPhone 8 (bought it December 2019) for personal and an iPhone X for business, thanks for letting me know what’s up with what most likely will be my next personal phone in a year or three.

I buy the iPhone SE for the smaller screen size and home button. If I wanted a bigger screen, I’ll buy a phone with a bigger screen.

Actually getting this phone for my grandma who is currently rocking an iPhone 6s 😂 this new SE is all she needs and I’m sure it will last her a long time.

I think that the hardware is severely lacking compared to other smartphones in the price range. With a smaller battery for comparison, an LCD screen and a small screen there are simply better products out there. I used to own a SE (2020) and was quite dissapointed with it since the battery didn’t last all day for me. It broke down after a year and I decided to abandon iPhone for a good while sincer they have a horrible guarantee standard (12 months) compared to the industry wide standard (24 months). OnePlus and Motorola produce phones with better hardware standards in this price category. Yeah I miss the lenghty software support, but in no way does it make up for the shitty hardware. Apple should honestly just abandon this price category and focus on high end phones or change their value for money proposition.

In other IPhones the SoC is the feature that has been designed for obsolescence.
With the SE models it is the battery.

The home button is superior to gestures, and I kind of wish there was an iPhone 13 with a home button. If there was I would buy it, but that probably won’t happen and it’s time to upgrade from my iPhone 7.
