NEVER underestimate the power of the home button, I have an iPhone 8 Plus and I wish they did an 8 Plus sized iPhone SE, it’d definetly be my next phone, I hate the notch and Face ID, I mean you’re not even able to see your battery percentage

It’s worth noting it’s a great improvement over the original smaller 2016 SE. And it’s worth noting Apple is STILL providing IOS updates for even that model. So, for someone like me , I comfortable that this phone is future proof for many years.

Hopefully they’ll use the X body for the 4th Gen. I really hate the battery life on my SE 2nd Gen. Thats literally my only complaint. I don’t even care about giant screens.

I would buy this phone once its screen is to body ratio increases and charging improves dont care much about camera it has all the perfect features except the ones mentioned above for me. Until those come i am sticking with my current phone plus switching phones leads to unprecedented data loss many times especially if you switch from an android device to an apple device.

Give us the 5.5 inch 1080p screen version with 2900amp battery. (IPhone 7 plus with A15 chip is all I need)
Thanks a lot for not undermining the essence of the home button for many of us that are so accustomed to it that we wouldn’t upgrade from the 7 and 8 plus irrespective of spec improvements.

The SE has a nearly perfect balance for me.
I need iOS for work (it’s mandatory for security reasons), a fast processor, I’m ok with the “smaller” screen, I don’t mind unlocking with my fingerprint. (In fact this would have been more convenient during these pandemic months where the face unlock was a pain in the ass), and I couldn’t care less about the cameras. I’m not a 20 year old girl taking selfies in the bathroom. Although the price is higher than it probably should, it checks almost every box in my book. It has 5G now… honestly, unless you’re a content creator or a teenager that prioritizes a camera over performance, this is a solid option. Again, a bit pricey. My iPhone 11 is already at 83% battery and an “upgrade” is due. So when they ask me at work what phone I want next, I think I’ll ask for the SE.
Sure, I’d like to wait for the newer iphone 14 lineup or even the 13, but anything over 500 dollars I must pay for with my own money to offset the difference, so… this model seems like a tailored suit for me.

Escape the grasp of the Home button with a workaround.

Turn on AssistiveTouch in Settings > Accessibility > Touch
and use one of these options:
(1) Set Back Tap to Home
(2) Use top level Home icon after Tap to Wake

Customize Top Level Menu to move Home icon’s location.
Customize Idle Opacity to make AssistiveTouch icon less intrusive.

i really liked this review but that phone sucks apple is clearly selling people their old stock and i think this phone doesnt come with a charger in the box either.

If you look at benchmarks A15 is the 3rd most powerful Chip falling behind after Snapdragon 8 gen 1 and dimensity 9000
