Current SE 3 user. Apart from the (serviceable) screen, everything is either great or more than good. Camera is excellent and hugely improved compared to iPhone 7 due to A15 processing. Battery life is serviceable through the day. Enthusiast focus on how ‘old’ supposedly the design is. However despite being old, its construction quality is still leagues above competitors of its price point. The chip is still faster than the fastest of Android. The camera takes better pictures than comparably priced Androids, albeit with only 1 (really good) camera not many mediocre cameras.

Yeah no shit. thick bezel crap, 720p lcd display there are so much better phones at this price. Their own mini is better. Crappy camera and so much powerhouse A15 in this shit.

I thought of waiting for this one, but then got me an used XS, 4 months ago and I’m pretty happy with it. It was way cheaper (I don’t care about 5G for now). I was using an SE 1st generation prior to this change for 3 years. And when I feel I’m the future that I need to change this XS, I’ll change its battery instead 😀

In my daily use, phone is the least technology i’ll get my hands of with because most of time i use laptop, either for chat, work, study, web browsing, etc. so this budget phone really satisfy me, i dont have to put a lot of money to get a new phone. of course i would rather buy rtx3050 than iphone13. and the most important is its size, its good to handle with 1 hand and not heavy at all to hold it while im in bed. so yeah im in

I had a 8 plus in red ( LOVED that color ) upgraded to a 12 pro max (sold it, too heavy and nothing special about it, missed the home button )
switched to a 12 mini ( great phone but still missed the home button )
I may actually purchase this phone! dont need the latest and greatest, honestly I would still be using my 8 plus BUT the camera quality is bad not gonna lie. And I never got used to the notch im always using dark wallpapers to hide it. Does anyone else do that?!

one thing I have noticed with the oleds: color accuracy was waaayyy better on the 8 plus, the newer models have a slight yellowish tint
