I needed a phone to replace my ageing original SE, it’s a second phone I use when I go out cycling, gym etc. In the UK the SE2 was £369 the SE3 is a £50 increase to £419 which is way too much for what it is, checked out the Apple refurb store and got myself a 64gb Mini 12 for £489, if the SE3 had been £369 like the SE2 I probably would have gone for it.

2:15 Thats optimistic. Apple has had a history of gimping their old phones through software and considering their BS repairability priorities (or lack thereof…) they might even make changing your battery a hassle going to one of their stores in a few years never mind trying to do it yourself with no official parts.

I feel like this is sort of an old persons phone? Simple power button makes it easy to navigate, lasts long.

I don’t see why you wouldn’t get a used 12 or 13 mini over this as a young person, if you want an Iphone that will get updates for long and have a decent battery life…
