I’ve got the SE 2020 and it still makes it in Germany. As long as there is not even 4G/LTE EVERYWHERE, 5G is not really worthwhile in Germany. That’s enough for the 2020s.

If I had a career where I needed/wanted a second phone that I didn’t give a shit about and absolutely love and have to have the apple ecosystem this is it. $400 is kinda steep but if you can afford a secondary phone for your work, this is it.

if you guys think it’s expensive….you’re just straight up delusional. $429 with the brains of the iPhone 13 plus 5 years of OS and security updates is a damn steal. I have a Google pixel 6 for 600 bucks with 3 years of OS UPDATES and 5 for security updates. Comparing the iphone SE to its own weightclass which is google pixel 5a 5G ($450) and it still comes no where near the performance and value.

They could have used the iPhone XR body with an A15 chip. Wouldn’t have to do any new machining, and it would have only one camera to keep costs down. The SE’s body and screen are just unacceptably old. I do think, however, for elderly users, the home button is easier and more intuitive than swipes.
