Well it’s A15 chip, but I assume, with defects in lithography of some part of the chip and thus that part is disabled. Same as i5 used to be (are) tuned down i7

If I had not bought a Pixel 6 last year this is what I would have gone for now. I love that body style and of course the A15 is killer. Hard not to love the SE value proposition.

I honestly think Apple puts overkill specs in all of their handheld/portable products for many reasons. The most notable one is, the more powerful the chip today= longer lifetime of updates. I mean the iPad Pro/airs with the m1 are overkill, It’s like giving an adult a baby puzzle,but if you know you don’t buy computers or phones a lot and you want the ones you do by to last along time, it’s great

I can even use the case of my iPhone 7 (yeah, not even iPhone 8) from 2016 on it. Very goood for guys who likes practicality over anything else. By the way, the bezels are a plus for me.

difference between 5g en 4g is too small atm. and 5g costs more battery. not a deal breaker i would say
