I think apple just makes a iphone se because they want to make the costumer think he buys something cheap, but in the end he sees the iphone 13 mini on their website and desides to buy a more expensive one without thinking it was very expensive, because originaly he wanted to buy the se. i dont belive they actually want to sell this phone many times.

The problem is a 720 screen in 2022 is not acceptable at the very least it should be 1080 as 1080 is what 720 was 2 years ago it’s the bare minimum.

My iPhone 12 Pro Max was just recently is damaged. It’s not performing due to corrupt hardware so I’m thinking about getting the SE. I’m done buying a 1K phone when I have a point and shoot camera that I carry on the side. I will miss the Ultra Wide camera though, it was pretty good.

I will continue to purposely buy SE iPhones beacause of home button, camera and chip. It’s everything I personally need. Simple and effective.

Why did they raise the price if it’s literally just a dumber version of a big iPhone and changed literally nothing from the previous version?
Because it has an apple logo on it.
But aren’t there other phones that are just better for your money?
Yeah but this has an apple logo on it. I feel like that’s who tends to buy this phone.

I think in one to two years time, Apple will add a finger print reader under the screen like Samsung. And in another one to two years time after that will use iPhone 13 mini as the ‘new’ iPhone SE with finger print reader.

I think they won’t change it, not because of cost, but to differentiate over the other phones. If they fixed all those things I would probably just get the SE instead. I have a mini now, down from the Pro Max. I find myself moving towards a phone with longevity over features.

I do not understand comments saying “This phone is for grans or kids.”. This phone is a perfect match for me who is a 29 years old software developer. I fall in love with Mac Mini M1, so I was looking for an iPhone for obvious reasons. I do think people here who call themselves tech-savvy, do not even make use 20% of features of their ultra mega premium iPhone 13 mega max deluxe.
