This is just pushing old outdated design with less than mediocre specs down people’s throat. At least they could’ve used the XR or 12Mini chassis for this. You saying the let down is not having a night mode is borderline dumb. A trillion dollar tech company cant make a better designed phone? Funny thing is Im using a 12 pro max and other apple products and this SE makes me wanna throw up.

This should bring down the price of 2nd hand Iphone SE (2020). I’m the sort of user that wants a smaller phone, decent battery (for what I use it for), possiblya second camera on back and a home button. Not bothered about speakers. not bothered about wireless charging – gimmick. If they could have just put a second camera in this a slightly bigger battery then it would be a killer for about 10 years!

“This exact formula” is for normals. This normal loves Touch ID on my iPhone SE. Camera is again great for normals. This is a device for normals.

You did not say if “smart data mode” is the default out of the box. My hope is that it is. Again normals do not care about having the latest, and greatest speed when it comes to our cellular connection. We just want a highly reliable connection. For me 4G LTE works great, and since most of the time I am at home on my WiFI connection does not matter.

Thing is if I want more I can always purchase the latests and greatest cut edge technology iPhone with all the bells, and whistles. Most normals just do not care. We want something that is going to work the same for us when we pull it out to use it.

Reliability, reliability. reliability.

The way I see it this’s an ideal phone for someone who doesn’t do much on their phone other than call, txt n listen to music Nor wants a brick of a phone weighing down n it keeps the home button

I am buying this one just because of home button and fingerprint feature. But I think it would be better if Apple provide us dual cam in back of iPhone se.

As an iPhone 8 user since 2017, literally won’t upgrade until there is a iPhone 13 mini look alike with Touch ID under the screen or on the side button like iPad (usb C would also be super nice…), would pay easily like 700-800$ for an iPhone like that

Miss my iphone 8 max. Best camera, and I switched to iphone 11 pro max😓 Hate face ID. I prefer finger print.
