Just make a iPhone SE with the body of an iPhone 8 Plus already Apple. You already have a lot of iPhone 8 Plus like its smaller sibling so why not use it if the idea of the SE is “New inside, Old outside”? I would happly buy a SE Plus but I think the SE plus would in between the SE and the base iPhone 13 so that wouldn’t be a good idea IMO.

why can’t they use iphone 10 as the base model for se phones , the i10 in used phone stores has lost it’s value way more than the 8 , doubt that it would cost apple much to use 10 body for SE

It’s a great way to integrate kids into an apple equipped family.
But I think I Marques’ prints now just by pausing the replay and taking a screenshot. The back of that phone just looks VERY fingerprinty.

There’s no reason for a phone like this to exist 2022. I don’t care how powerful that chip is – #1, it’s like putting a Lamborghini motor in your 1999 Toyota, #2, thinking that someone will get this phone for gaming is ridiculous – there is no high refresh rate and overall, the screen absolutely S U C K S. I get that people miss Touch ID, but so many things have changed since 2017, we just need to learn to let stuff go. In-display fingerprints are awesome. If you want a small phone so much, get the Galaxy S22. If you want iOS so much, get an iPhone 13(mini). If you don’t have money, there’s SE 2020 that works just fine.

Regardless of what the tech community thinks of this phone, virtually everyone who will buy this could care less about “better options” on similar phones. It’s an iPhone. It has generally great specs and a great price. And Apple will sell millions of them. Boring and predictable? Perhaps, but Apple knows exactly what they’re doing in this case.

I’m using a SE 2, what I feel should be changed/improve when use this phone is night mode and battery. The battery is not letting me enjoy the advantages of a powerful processor. I don’t care about wide angle and other multiple camera because my main camera is so good but lacks night time photography. Although they could introduce notch. This could be their mini version instead a separate mini.
