I don’t understand why majority of the tech folk on YouTube don’t speak out against this dated and yet very effective practice of consumers being served steaming piles of shit in a gold foil.
The phone is a disgrace for $420 ish. and the fact that the video doesn’t spend every single minute calling out apple for asking such a significant amount for such a pathetic device makes me think things will never change.
All the damn videos are just people parroting specs, repeating apple’s talking points, why not just wear genius shirts and call yourselves apple employees.
Miss what YouTube tech videos used to actually be about.

imagine Samsung put the SD 8gen 1 in the s7 and sell it for even $300. All the western tech channels will be boycotting Samsung by now. No excuse justifies the SE design in 2022

I’m likely getting a 2022 SE to replace my Sony Xperia 5ii soon. The 5ii is an awesome phone but in practice I just don’t use its features as much as I thought I would, and I still want a phone with fingerprint reader and no notch.
My prediction is that the next generation of SE will take the form of the current 13 Mini, as the Mini is widely thought to disappear from the “regular” lineup but I don’t think they would discard all the resources they had to put together to make it. And that will be the end of the Touch ID era in phones.

Ive always thought that the next iPhone SE would be based on the iPhone XR, that one has kind of modern design, a bigger screen and a bigger battery. there might be a slight price increase maybe to 450$ but they can use this design till like 2027!
I would buy such phone if really want to stick with apple ecosystem but dont have budget for flagship phone

Instead of the format of the iPhone 8 why not go with the plus variant? It would be a bigger phone for sure but with a larger screen it’s easier for older people to read, it would have a bigger battery and an extra camera. While still having no support for millimeter wave 5G it would be a better deal and maybe more people would be down to pay less for an older body with brand new specs.
