SE is being widely used as a corporate phone. All the corporate systems *had to* be made to work with iOS, because all the big bosses were running iPhones anyway, but then Windows Phone (that corporate peasants were using before) disappeared and making all systems work with Android was too expensive, so switching everyone to iPhone SE (with new phone generation) was the cheapest solution. So a bunch of companies now only support iPhones as mobile corporate terminals.

90Hz display or nits or bigger battery do not matter there, but 100$ (or even 50$) in price does matter a lot!

I’ve got an 8 right now and will almost certainly end up with an SE. Not sure if it’s going to be this model or the previous generation, but honestly the only gripe I have with my 8 is the processing power (and the battery is getting a bit old). I don’t mind the old hardware.

It’s funny, I care so much about my computer hardware and sim racing hardware and totally geek out over all of that, and then all I want in my phone is the cheapest hot-rod iOS device out there.

I get that the camera and longevity is on a class of its own at this price for sure, nothing beats it. But ur still paying more than what its worth bcos everything else is years old. They r charging more AND forcing us to deal with all the BS with the screen, battery, and design. If ur paying for that longevity and camera at a relative low price why should it be over sacrificing basic fundamentals of a phone? Not worth it imo.
