Still rocking the 2020 SE, performance is still great but the battery life is really bad. I can’t imagine cramming in an even more powerful chip in it. I don’t mind the screen and the gigantic bezels though

Dead on in regards to the home button. I don’t buy the SE because of the price. It’s for the form factor and the home button. I honestly have no clue why anyone would want to deal with a larger phone.

I feel as long as the maintain 4.5hr of screen on time then it’s perfect. For people buying and using it that battery life easy gets people through a day.

I always thought of the SE more as the “Small Edition” because it was nearly perfect in size. The new SE is too big. iPhone SE 2016 was the best SE. But they should have made one in the iPhone 4s form factor. It was the perfect size.

I think another reason for the overkill on the chip and other components that are in their flagships is manufacturing, it is easier to manufacture and get shipments of as few components as possible ad if the chips are cheap as chips for them to produce compared to the upmark they may as well put it in.
